Poetic Art Statement: Calling All Angels ~ Grant Us Heavenly Guidance. 16" x 20" Water-Based Acrylic & Mixed-Media. Calling All Angels (IV) is a One-Of-a-Kind Contemporary Abstract Inspirational & Patriotic Artwork using only Organic Art Mediums healthy for our homes, offices, and earth. Colors: Red, white, blue, sky blue, taupe-beige and metallics of burnt orange, copper, bronze, silver, gold, and a very bright translucent gold which I invented. Created on .2 inch thin transparent clear plexiglass sheet which can very easily fit into any 16 x 20 frame of collector choice without a border. Photos display a few Mat Art Border color options if a larger decor effect is desired, but due to the metallic nature of the painting, many metallic frames and frame colors look beautiful also and Mat is not necessary if 16 x 20 decor is large enough. The painting is a unique reverse plexi painting and therefore can be framed without a backing if a translucent effect is enjoyed. Many versatile decor options for collectors & designers! Artist Series Inspiration: My spirit prompted me to produce this new series and as I was painting these Angels, my inner voice said "Calling All Angels" which was one of my mom's favorite sayings. I also observed my dad's message of "Stay Loose" which has helped me many times during my lifetime, and kept my paint style abstractly loose and free. Thoughts upon viewing the collection, reminded me of all the 'earth angels' who have also helped me during my lifetime. Calling All Angels - here on earth as well as celestial. Artist "Angel Series" Statement: About 10 years ago, when my mother could no longer speak, we communicated thru Angel Paintings, and then I understood on a deeper level one of the reasons why I had begun to paint Angels - it was a gift of communication that I could still have with my mother. And for the first time in my life, I recognized the power of Art on an entirely different level. I believe spiritual art has powerful transformative and healing energy.
