Veronica Dragnef

Veronica Dragnef is a Canadian contemporary artist based in Québec. Her practice includes installation and material-based work exploring memory, domestic life, and everyday experience.

Alongside her conceptual projects, she creates paintings that act as intimate, expressive fragments of this larger artistic universe. Moving between abstraction and figuration, her works capture emotion, gesture, and presence through layered brushwork and vibrant color.

Influenced by the New York School, her paintings remain tactile, physical, and deeply human.

Veronica Dragnef est une artiste contemporaine canadienne basée au Québec. Sa pratique comprend l’installation et le travail conceptuel autour de la mémoire, de la domesticité et de l’expérience quotidienne.

En parallèle, elle réalise des peintures qui agissent comme des fragments sensibles de cet univers de recherche. Oscillant entre abstraction et figuration, ses œuvres traduisent le geste, l’émotion et la présence par la couleur et la matière.

Influencée par l’École de New York, sa peinture demeure physique, tactile et profondément humaine.
