Rebecca Cupples

Rebecca Cupples worked as a professional decorative artist for over 25 years. She has worked with clients and designers throughout the Southeast United States painting murals and all manner of finishes on walls, ceilings, floors, furniture, cabinets and accessories. She paints in realism and abstract using acrylics on canvas, paper and board. Rebecca's subject matter is varied and she has painted many commissioned portraits and abstracts.

Rebecca majored in art in high school and had an excellent teacher for 4 years. Other than some instructional classes throughout the years she is basically self-taught.

Rebecca has participated is several juried shows and has won 2 First Place, 2 Second Place, 1 Third Place and a Best of Show award.

She is a member of the Mississippi Artists' Guild where she was co-chair of the "Shows" committee for 2 years and will be the associate director for 2016-17.
