Artist Statement:
I am Peter Foesters born (1968) and living in Belgium.
In 1992 I graduated from the art school.
My work is exclusively abstract but with a third dimension.
Depth is very important to me, this in combination with bright fluo colors.
That is my trademark.
I want to show the beauty in disintegration, in all the ugliness there is a certain beauty.
I get my inspiration mainly from images of apartment buildings and landscapes.
Also artists like Klein, Hockney, Warhol, Lichtenstein and Basquiat have inspired me.
Driven by creativity, I always want to go a step further.
Never stand still, always take the next step.
That's what art is all about for me!
