Zatista's mission is to create an online marketplace that effectively connects buyers and sellers of fine and contemporary original art. Our commitment is to provide an innovative, safe, and comfortable experience to discover and purchase high-quality original art, as well as increase exposure for our artists and galleries.
Our Story
A few years back Pete Borowsky, Zatista's Founder and CEO, was looking for original art to put on the blank walls of his new house. The only problem was, as a new art buyer he wasn't exactly sure where to start. What he found online was mostly reproductions, and he wanted something more unique – the real thing. What he wanted was a site that made the process of finding art easy and fun, that would also guide him along the way and de-mystify some aspects of buying art. A place that gave him access to a large number of the best artists in the world, all in one place and yet made searching for them efficient – not overwhelming.
The eureka moment happened when he realized that if he felt this way, it was a safe bet that there were many others in the same boat.
Fast forward to today. Zatista is the site that Pete was looking for, with even more great features and tools than he had first imagined. The different searching options allow you to be as exploratory or as direct as you like in your shopping style, but the pleasure you feel when you find that perfect piece is the same.We are so excited to finally welcome you to Zatista!
