Artist Statement:
My name is Sharon Olga Schlitner Rodionov, I was born in Russia and have been living in Israel since the age of 12.
I've been drawing and experimenting with colors since I can remember, but I've been been painting professionally for about 15 years. I paint in acrylic colors on canvas, cardboard and glass.
Over the years I've developed several unique painting techniques. My paintings are done in semi-liquid colors using different tools such as brushes and specially sharpened wooden tools, which I use to merge different colors into one another. Sometimes I paint in layers, allowing the lower layer to dry out before applying the next semi-liquid layer, in order to create a three-dimensional effect. I am continually experimenting with different styles and techniques, striving to achieve new ways to express myself and develop my artwork.
I'm represented in several galleries in Jerusalem, Caesarea, Prague and Moscow. In Israel I work in collaboration with leading interior designers, creating pictures in harmony with the client's room style and coloring, both for private homes and office spaces.
