Christa Haack

I lives and works in Freiburg, Germany. I have an extensive history studying art all over the globe, though. From 1984 to 1989, I lived with my family in Paris, where I studied art history at the "Union Central des Arts Decoratifs." A few years later, I moved to London to intensively study painting at the Hampstead School of Art, and I ended up living there until 2014. Since 2006, I have studied at the renowned state art academy in Bad Reichenhall. Now, I'm a freelance artist specializing in abstract artwork. 2010 master class with Alexander Jeanmaire(Switzerland) I also get a lot of inspiration from traveling. Experiencing other cultures and study of new natural environments gives a lot of energy. The love for color and composition is clearly reflected in my abstract work. I work in structured layers and combine it with powerful and expressive use of color. The compositions are created by a free flow of imagination and fantasy. For this I also use additional materials such as sand and pasta. My paintings consist of several layers of paint. Regularly, I even paint over existing works. I like to give my imagination free rein and let the paint find its own way. I also regularly step
out of my comfort zone to experiment with subjects, colors and compositions .My work is a combination of control and free creative process. This creates paintings in which a lot of feelings are represented. My art work are painted with highly pigments acrylic colors, varnished including UV-protection. The artworks will be shipped in a cardboard box, covert on both side against puncture. Images are privately owned in UK, USA, Germany, Switzerland, France, Tschech Republic,Austria, Canada, Italy

I'm a contemporary abstract artist working in acrylics, I am inspired by the natural beauty around me. My goal is to capture the mood of the moment on canvas, whether in an entirely abstract painting or in my abstracted interpretation of a natural scene. My work reflects my love of colour and the interplay of light and texture.
Although my work is abstract, it elicits emotional responses from viewers and is frequently described as "beautiful". My paintings may, at times, be subtle and at other times bold and vibrant. Strong composition, visual texture, bold use of colour and trusting my intuition, are some of the elements I employ as I explore the possibilities of my blank canvas.
