Before ever picking up a brush, Philippe meticulously plans each project. Starting with detailed sketches on paper, he carefully experiments with colours to craft the perfect palette. Drawing from legendary artists such as Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Banksy, Edvard Munch, and Wassily Kandinsky, Philippe infuses his work with dynamic colour and expressive forms. Beyond these artistic icons, his primary inspiration lies in the human spirit, particularly the emotions captured in the eyes. \u201cThe most important element is the eyes\u2014the look, the \u2018mirror of the soul,\u2019\u201d he explains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Success as an Artist<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For Philippe, success is deeply personal. \u201cFor me, success is when someone I don\u2019t know approaches me and says they love one of my artworks,\u201d he shares. This connection with his audience is what drives him as an artist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a multi-platinum, award-winning music composer and producer honoured with French Grammys at “Les Victoires de la Musique,” Philippe\u2019s creativity extends beyond the visual arts. His portraits of iconic musicians such as John Lennon, Prince, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix, and Freddie Mercury pay homage to their artistry and legacy. He notes, \u201cMy music career has provided me with a deeper sense of rhythm and structure in my painting.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
