Artist Statement: Marilyn Henrion has been creating original artworks for corporate, healthcare and residential interiors for over 25 years.

Her works are included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Arts & Design in New York, the U.S. Embassy in Pnom Penh, Cambodia, Avaya Corp[oration, Lucent Technologies, among many others. She is represented in the Smithsonian Institution's Archives of American Art in Washington, DC.

Applying contemporary aesthetic sensibilities to traditional textile techniques and combining them with modern technologies, the artist celebrates that irregular and intimate quality of things made of the human hand. Created with the finest materials and museum-quality craftsmanship, she transforms the medium into a vehicle for sophisticated visual expressions with strong graphic impact.
Education: Graduate of the Cooper Union College of Arts & Sciences and Fordham University
