| Artist Statement: | I love the process of making art. There is really no bad way to approach it. Each new thing that is started may lead to a surprising result- with luck and a little synergy. I try to keep an open mind and to have faith in my instincts. Preserving a sense of spontaneity is important to me. There should be a feeling of freshness. It is also good if there is some mystery in the work- something held back that can be provided by the viewer. I have fun with my dark side but also manage to take my sense of humor very seriously! Selling work on ZATISTA is very personal and exciting. I love having an opportunity to communicate with buyers... and interested art lovers. This is a comment that I received recently and it makes me so happy! "I love the painting so much-- can't take my eyes off it.
