| Artist Statement: | My approach to painting is to always try to reveal something unknown. I like to convey ideas simply for maximum impact. In my representational work, I am looking to interpret reality in a painterly language that highlights what is meaningful. In my abstract painting, I work spontaneously with color, line and shapes, following an intuitive process. I am simultaneously trying to use all my distilled knowledge as an artist, and at the same time forget it all. My goal is to discover something entirely new. |
