Artist Statement: My approach to painting is to always try to reveal something unknown. I like to convey ideas simply for maximum impact. In my representational work, I am looking to interpret reality in a painterly language that highlights what is meaningful.

In my abstract painting, I work spontaneously with color, line and shapes, following an intuitive process. I am simultaneously trying to use all my distilled knowledge as an artist, and at the same time forget it all. My goal is to discover something entirely new.
Education: Howard attended Pratt Institute, California Institute of the Arts and The Art Students League.

He has garnered numerous awards from film festivals such as Cine, Ottawa International Animation Festival, ASIFA, and has exhibited at the New York Film Festival and Filmex Exposition - winning the first place Rosalind Russell Film Award.
