| Artist Statement: | Thank you for viewing my work. Each photograph is a signed original piece, and there are no editions. For me, photography is an art of observation; finding something extraordinary in an ordinary place. Under the belief that seeing is a creative process, I work under two precepts: the first that there be simplicity of composition, and the second that I maintain a level of receptivity which frees me from premeditated ideas. Both principles enable me to pay closer attention to the ordinary. I print using only archival, exhibition grade materials, and will never ship you a photograph rolled in a tube. All orders are laid flat, covered with a single sheet of acid-free parchment, corner mounted between rigid hinged layers of protective acid-free materials, and then securely air-pillow packaged and shipped to you via UPS. |
