| Artist Statement: | The natural scenic views and rugged environment of Maine's coast and architecture are my source of inspiration for my fine art works. I pay careful attention to detail but at the same time I'm aware of the overall composition. Each piece is like a musical score with a beginning, middle and end. Large shapes and colors are juxtaposed with smaller elements that complete the piece. My work is an expression of the beauty that I see in the natural and built environment. |
