| Artist Statement: | Michele Morata has been a full-time gallery painter since 2000. Paintings have been commissioned by HGTV designers & collectors internationally. Art Galleries in Laguna Beach, Beverly Hills/Rodeo Drive, New York, Las Vegas, Palm Desert, San Clemente, Scottsdale, San Francisco, and Houston have featured her original paintings. PERSONAL STATEMENT ::: I have been a full-time artist since 2000. Fine Art Painting is my primary chosen path of creative self-expression. Everyone has something they can do, which no one else can do. Every person can give a gift to the world, that no one else can give, the discovery of which lies sometimes buried within one's soul. One of my mother’s dreams was to be a professional artist, but she lacked confidence in herself and her talent. Before she died, she told me that she felt as if she had never "really lived." This had a profound impact on my life. After that, I made a lifetime promise to continue to paint in honor of my mother, to learn how to live my authentic creative truth, and to encourage others in the journey to discover who they really are. My current life mission is to bring peace, light, and positive energy to the world thru my creative talents ... and one way I accomplish this vision is thru my painting gift. Thank you for supporting the collective dream of all artists, past, present, and future. ABOUT MY OIL PAINTINGS ::: I feel passionate about the meditative quality of nature involving my study and observations as they relate to earth, wind, water, and sky. My love of colors, natural space, and nature elements has inspired me to produce “ColorScapes.” These paintings combine my artistic oil talent and love of tranquility with emotional release. I have always used water-based Oils which are considered less toxic than traditional oils and think of myself as a “Green” Artist whenever possible. I want to be aware of my client’s environments and add to the health & healing of the planet. In my textured oil series I also utilize ecofriendly textures & Italian art mediums. I use professional grade products that are shipped from Italy accompanied with international recycled paper products which complete my unique oil artwork. |

| Artistic Influences: | My Artistic Influences Come From Both My Father & My Mother. My mother gave me the gift of looking at the world thru the creative intuitive ... and my father gave me the gift of looking at the world thru the linear technical. I believe both my parents have influenced me in a very positive fashion to create the works that I gave back to the world - in a spirit of contribution. My spiritual life has influenced me tremendously & allowed me to trust both these processes - to then give back the gift to the world that has been given to me. |
