| Artist Statement: | I am inspired by architecture, mechanics, infrastructure, and design. My work ex- plores structure and shape set against the noise of chaos and underlying forms. To create these environments I construct in layers, establishing initial planes of disorder first. As the world takes shape, forms emerge and construct the subject. By creating a full environment for the foreground structures the designs gain context and there-fore contrast and focus. |
