In the now, when I read the writings of REVS or delve into the arts of intense influence on me, recently that of Ghada Amer and Gerhard Richter, I can't help but site new findings, especially when they seem to be somehow channeled to me through human experience. Not thinking of revisiting any style or influence when I work, existence-all surges me forth into the infinite possibilities yet to be unearthed. Cathartically, the simplest means sometimes provide the nicest ends. |
