Our life experiences are a series of events in motion, each layering up another and creating incredible complexity, character and depth. Our experiences blend creating a kaleidoscope of colorful life, vibrant, rich, and unique. This series is all about capturing a look at life experiences; appreciating the motion, complexity, unpredictability, and beauty of letting go and living fully. This original wall sculpture is eye catching and intriguing ---makes you want to study it closer and closer to absorb all the complex composure of color - thick paints appear to be almost still dripping and mixing down the wooden sticks. An incredible amount of paint is used on this piece to give it this depth and intricate character. A laborious process ---but so worth it for the results of the final product. The vertically displayed sculptures in this series, like this one, are particularly intriguing with a special technique I use for "dripping" and moving the paint first in one direction, with the piece horizontal, then in the other direction, horizontally, and then back and forth ---the end result is a visually interesting effect that appears the paint is defying gravity. It makes for a very stunning and spectacular effect and display. This sculpture is composed of repurposed stick pieces, each hand painting various colors then assembled as one piece. Then a laborous process of days of layering paints to create the complicated and very striking patterns of color. This piece has great movement and vibrancy! A wonderful and truly unique modern sculptural statement for your home or office wall. This is a made to order piece and will be very similar to the one you see pictured although no two pieces of original artwork are every exactly alike.
