It was Fall. The families had gone home from their vacations. The kids back in school. The boat dock sat still after the bustle of Summer tourists, and canoes bobbed up and down in the nearly still water. It still felt like Summer, but no one was there. These canoes were brilliant in late afternoon sun. |
