Above is a semi-abstract figurative work done from life. The work is completed in a dynamic combination of graphite and oil pastel. This piece is discounted because it is sold unstretched. It can be restretched and presented in a gallery wrap style, which can be done at a frame shop for a relatively low cost.  Stretcher bars are not included.

I seek to honor the figure in a simple and honest way - tapping into its myterious power and charisma through the expressiveness of line. I am heavily influenced by classical work, as well as the bravery of those fighting for and against their existence. I seek to capture that light of existence, that "gleaming fire", as well as its burdonsome weight.
