The Window Washer was photographed in the mid 1950's and is part of the "Window People" series which was featured on the Today Show. The image was taken in my studio on East 68th Street in NYC. I was fascinated by the indifferent expression on his face and also by the pattern that his brush was making. This was not a set-up shot. It occurred naturally and it illustrates again the importance of being ready, recognizing and capturing that "moment in time". The image is printed on 13"x19" Fine Art Baryta. Live image area is 9.9"H x 9.5" W. |
