A limited edition impressionistic photograph of the sun setting through trees on the Pacific Coast Highway in California.

Like all my work, this is professionally printed on Hahnemuhle photorag pearl paper, as an archival giclee print. It can be printed larger, in a smaller limited edition.

This is from the series "Poetic Motion", which grew from a combined fascination with recorded movement and travel. The series show evidence of travel while keeping the formal beauty of the landscape. Some objects are in focus and others blurred away, underscoring the impossibility of complete perception. They emphasize the speed of our world, in which the landscape is no longer available for extended contemplation, but is experienced while racing to the destination.
