Alangasi 12
The Alangasi series are mixed media paintings of organic forms representing and exploring dichotomies such as macro/micro, ancient/modern, primitive/contemporary, simple/complex, and familiar/mysterious. The geometric symbols and organic forms in this series are my personal graffiti or abstracted calligraphy.   They map a story of place, time, or psychological terrain which may be real or imagined, or both simultaneously, giving them a meditative but mysterious tension. The image extends around the edge of the board and is ready to hang.
