Pete Borowsky
Founder & CEOWith the birth of Zatista, Pete has returned to his creative beginnings armed with 15 years of broad internet experience, an inspired idea and the passion to put it into practice.

Shifting gears in Philadelphia, Pete made a move into the internet world when he took a position with CDNOW. From there, Pete joined Half.com eventually serving as Director of Product Management, all the while continuing to gain insight into building effective online products. In 2000 when Half.com was acquired by eBay, Pete transitioned there, becoming a valuable asset to the company and acquiring experience in virtually every area of the eBay marketplace. He was integral to making eBay’s product measurably more efficient, user-friendly and profitable.
In early 2008, Pete joined Dayak Inc. as their Vice President of Customer Experience immersing himself in a start-up environment again. After this, Pete felt an irresistible draw to put his full attention to his own expression of creativity – Zatista. He recognized a need for a marketplace where anyone can find and own a unique art piece, at a variety of price points. And by providing this place through Zatista, more artists can make their life’s passion a sustainable business as well.
