Kevin Brewerton

Featured in Real Simple, previous Zatista Featured Artist and five-time world kickboxing champion, Kevin Brewerton, came to fine art unexpectedly. “I grew up hating art,” Brewerton says. “I didn’t understand it. Growing up in a coal mining town taught me that art was only for the rich. I resented it. I thought it was just pretty pictures, empty canvases that anyone could paint. I didn’t realize art is about communication and creating a mirror in which to see one’s self.”

Brewerton’s work imparts a grace and sensitivity that one might not expect to see from a boxer-turned-artist. His broad brush strokes and strong use of color jump right off the canvas at the viewer.

If Brewerton’s success at boxing is any indication of his potential in the studio, you’ll want to keep your eye on this artist.

Warren Keating

California artist Warren Keating combines video and paint to depict figures in motion in his signature style, Pixel Impressionism. A native of New Orleans and a graduate of Otis College of Art & Design, his current work reflects the culmination of 25 years of both figure and landscape painting.

Keating has had numerous solo shows in the U.S. and Mexico, including a special exhibit sponsored by the governor of Oaxaca. His work has been published in art books, national magazines, and an interview with the artist was featured on CNN.

Keating’s latest series, Overview, was selected as an LA Times Calendar pick and won awards at juried exhibits at Long Beach Arts and the Visual Arts Society of Texas. His work is found in collections all over the world.

A blending of painting styles and voyeurism, we are excited about the color, movement, and intrinsic narrative of these figurative works. Accessible to all, what’s not to like?

Rachel Gillen

Earning her BFA from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco in 2009, artist Rachel Gillen won numerous awards for her artwork even before finishing school.

Gillen’s compelling abstract style has been featured in The Artist’s Magazine and International Artist Magazine. Her work is part of collections across the United States and internationally including the corporate collection of the Pabst Blue Ribbon Company.

With her first solo show in March 2010, Gillen is an emerging artist with a strong future. This is the contemporary work you’ve been looking for!

Ken Horne

Inspired by the intricacies of nature and human emotions, artist Ken Horne brings a unique perspective and grace to each canvas from a very personal place. “I use my painting as a way to process and balance out the stories of human pain and suffering that I absorb through my work as a therapist. I see my work as energetic offerings to humanity.”

With work featured in the January/February 2008 issue of Martha Stewart’s Blueprint Magazine, Ken Horne is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in private practice as a psychotherapist.

Hang Ken Horne’s work in your living room or dining room, and you’re sure to own a one-of-a-kind conversation starter.

Haydee Torres

Born in New York City and raised in Puerto Rico, Haydee Torres first studied Fashion Design at the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale and then later discovered her true love – fine art.

Exploding with color, passion and style, Torres’ mixed media work provocatively explores emotion and form through portraiture, figure painting and abstract canvases.

Make a strong statement by adding one of Torres’ bold and piercing portraits to your art collection today.

Georganna Lenssen

Our current featured artist, Georganna Lenssen takes an intense interest in her subjects and translates deep personal experience to the canvas. Her layered, painterly style has earned her countless awards including two Wildlife Purchase Prizes, the Roy Lance Lauffer Memorial Award and the Elizabeth Arramark Scholarship.

For the past five years, Lenssen has been a teacher at the Wayne Art Center and Chester Springs Studios in Pennsylvania. Lenssen’s work shows in various galleries including the Rosenfeld Gallery in Philadelphia, PA and the West Branch Gallery & Sculpture Park in Stowe, VT.

Lenssen’s work has been part of numerous exhibits over the past 10 years and will also be on view at the Annual Small Works Show at the Rosenfield Gallery this December.

Do not miss an opportunity to purchase the work of this extraordinary artist whose journey with each subject creates some of the richest canvases we see in art today.

Adam Regan

Schooled in the advertising world, Adam Regan was an award winning art director for agencies including TBWA, The Ball Partnership and Ammirati Puris, in London, Melbourne, Dusseldorf, Hong Kong, Johanessburg, Cape Town, New York, Paris and Chicago before returning to his first love, photography.

Regan’s images reflect classical art themes, structures and their interaction with the environment, and an obsession with texture. Adam Regan’s photographs command attention and dare to go unobserved.

Capturing unspeakable beauty and bestilling its power, this photography is monumental. What’s more, the scale of Regan’s work couldn’t be better for our modern, undressed walls.

Kaley Rhodes

An emerging artist with a passion for modern living and design, Kaley Rhodes nurtured her aesthetic in the business world before turning her energy to art, full time.

With a nod to great Modernists like Mark Rothko and Franz Kline, Rhodes’ crisp, clean imagescapes are what our urban interiors crave. These works have striking color combinations, terrific scale, and arrive as gallery wrapped canvases with no need for framing.

What better way to transform your home for the holidays?

Mary Lea Bradley

Rooted squarely in emotional abstraction, Mary Lea Bradley’s work is never static. Through the intangible elements of light, movement and space, Bradley creates images of uninhibited sensuality.

A master colorist, her rich tonal balance exuberantly depicts abstraction with passion, sensation and feeling. Featured in Elle Décor this year, Mary Lea Bradley’s work is a Zatista top seller.

If you want to add a dynamic and eye-catching abstract to your living or work space, Bradley’s work is it!

Chad Wooters

Using the atypical models of tools, hardware, and packing materials, artist Chad Wooters intends to make every brush stroke match the visual truths of his subjects. Through depictive art, Wooters claims, it is the faithfulness of a painting, not its meaning, that will stir the soul.

Appealing in their straightforwardness and skill, the beauty of this work transcends both concept and narrative.

Place a Wooters painting in your home as you would any still life, and see how this slightly unexpected imagery adds dimension to your art collection, bringing it to life.
