California artist Warren Keating combines video and paint to depict figures in motion in his signature style, Pixel Impressionism. A native of New Orleans and a graduate of Otis College of Art & Design, his current work reflects the culmination of 25 years of both figure and landscape painting.
Keating has had numerous solo shows in the U.S. and Mexico, including a special exhibit sponsored by the governor of Oaxaca. His work has been published in art books, national magazines, and an interview with the artist was featured on CNN.
Keating’s latest series, Overview, was selected as an LA Times Calendar pick and won awards at juried exhibits at Long Beach Arts and the Visual Arts Society of Texas. His work is found in collections all over the world. A blending of painting styles and voyeurism, we are excited about the color, movement, and intrinsic narrative of these figurative works.
